Teacher and Track Requests

Teacher requests are accepted on a very limited basis. Requests must be made during a window that will be published spring of 2005. Teacher requests must be made based on the legitimate instructional needs of each particular student. Examples of legitimate instructional needs are teaching styles, instructional program or other specific educational related needs. Parent requests should not be based on student preference, student's friends, teacher popularity or other educationally irrelevant information. REQUESTS MADE FOR REASONS OTHER THAN EDUCATIONAL WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Teacher requests at other time will not be honored. TRACK assignment changes may be necessary to balance loads. The final decision for student placement rests with the school and will be made balancing the needs of all the students.
